A recommendation

I haven’t written anything for a while but I’m now back with a musical recommendation. It’s a weird album of soft vocal jazz with some hints of french chanson. I know this description fits lots of really not very good music being heard at coffee shops throughout the world. The weird thing about this one is: it’s Iggy Pop, the “Godfather of Punk”, the “Rock Iguana”. Doing a jazz/chanson album? Well… it sounds as if he was trying to channel Tom Waits or Leonard Cohen. And it sounds really good! The album is called Preliminaires:
